Yuva, the official cultural club of Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology (MSIT), organised its annual cultural festival spread over 20th, 27th and 28th of April 2024. The event featured a lineup of renowned guest artists from around the nation.

On 20th morning, at Jai Hind Auditorium,the dance troupe from different colleges kicked off the festival, setting the stage on fire with their electrifying moves, leaving the audience spellbound.

Day 1 ended with a spectacular performance by the guest artist, T.R.A.P Band, an experimental band from Kolkata who took the stage to thunderous applause. The Radical Array Project also commonly referred to as T.R.A.P. is one of the liveliest and energetic bands in India. But it hit covers or their original fresh content, this band has a zing to trap the audience with whatever they play.

Day 2 was held within the college premises where besides various colleges 10+ schools were also invited offering participants an exceptional platform to showcase and enhance their skills in fun events like Chess, Carrom, Quiz, Dart, Debate competitions and BGMI tournament.

The grand finale and Day 3 of Advaya 2024 held at Jai Hind featured a stellar lineup of entertainment with the hilarious standup comedian Vivek Samtani gracing the stage and sensational singer and performer Emon Chatterjee!

Vivek had the audience rolling in the aisles with laughter while Emon and his team showcased their mastery over various genres, including classical, semi-classical, and contemporary music.

Speaking about the festival, the college's principal, Prof. (Dr.) Tirthankar Datta, said, "We are thrilled to have such a diverse range of artists performing at our festival. Our aim is to provide a platform for our students to showcase their talents and also bring some of the best artists to our campus. We hope that this festival will not only entertain but also inspire our students to pursue their passions."

The Cultural Programme coordination committee of the college consisting of all faculty and staff was the main advisory body of this programme.

Having radio partner 91.9 friends FM and media partner Edugraph along with the sponsors and collaborators Thomas Cook, RadioVoice and TalentWale were an integral part of making this year's cultural fest a memorable and outstanding occasion.
