Department of International Relations, Jadavpur University, is all set to host the 11th edition of the International Relations Scholastic Conclave (IRSC) from 25 to 27 April. This academic event has become a prominent platform for scholars and students to engage in discussions and debates around contemporary issues of global significance.
This year's theme, "Is the world between orders? Rethinking conflict, cooperation and the quest for stability" reflects the need to critically examine the existing global order and the challenges it faces. The conclave aims to provide a space for insightful discussions, debates, and presentations on a wide range of topics related to international relations, security, and global politics.
The cultural day on 26 April is the major highlight of the event and will focus on the intersection of culture and international relations. It provides a unique opportunity to explore the role of culture in shaping global affairs and to appreciate the diversity of cultures across the world.
Participants from across the country will compete in six events namely:
- Crisis Committee,
- Debate,
- Essay,
- Paper Presentation,
- Policy Lab, and
- Quiz.
These events will enable students to showcase their research skills, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.
