The students of the Bhawanipur Education Society College gifted their fellow teachers a Time Machine, as they put up a magical show on the theme of the Black & White era.

These retro decades hold special memories in the core of our hearts and the Professors couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw each corner of the college campus dedicated to the golden era. Nostalgia hit hard. The college takes pride in its collectives, student-run extracurricular clubs, and associations dedicated to a variety of talents and skills.

The program started with a spectacular performance by the members of the Eastern dance team, followed by a rocking concert put up by BESC’s band, ‘Crescendo’. With songs like “Can't Help Falling in Love” and “Hey Jude”, the talented rockstars made the whole crowd sing along.

Heritage Institute of Technology (HITK) celebrated Teachers Day in a grand way on 5th September 2023. The same day also marks the 22nd Foundation Day of the Institute. Teachers Day program in the Institute started with a lamp lighting ceremony.

The day also witnessed felicitation of teachers and staff members of the Institute who have completed 10 years of service making the Institute a center of excellence.

Few teachers were felicitated for outstanding teaching, outstanding research accomplishment and for overall excellence. Prof. Nandan Kumar Jana, from the Department of Biotechnology, was being felicitated for his outstanding teaching, Prof. Pramita Sen from Department of Chemical Engineering, was being felicitated for outstanding research accomplishment and Prof. Dipankar Chakraborty, from Department of Mathematics was being felicitated for overall excellence.

Father Principal praised the endeavours undertaken by the XES and congratulated the students for organizing such an exemplary Teacher's Day celebration.

The programme shined with a soulful group song, a silent drama and a humorous theatrical performance thus blending tradition with modernity. The program saw great success and served as a reminder that teachers are indeed a guiding light, and not one but each day is a success owing to their presence in the lives of their students.
