To commemorate the birth of the second President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a philosopher and a great teacher, 5 September is celebrated as Teachers' Day every year. The Teachers' Day was organised with incredible zeal and gusto by the students of Loreto Day School, Bowbazar. The day started with a mass held in the school's Concert Hall. A warm welcome at the Concert Hall gate with " chandan tika", cards and aesthetically decorated Hall was a pleasant surprise for all the teachers.

The students planned many spectacles for the day on the theme "Retro" and showcased many scintillating dance performances on some peppy numbers which highlighted the heart warming relationship between a teacher and a student.They presented a medley, poem and an interesting skit as well. The Principal, Ms. M. King, congratulated the teachers and acknowledged the sincere efforts of every teacher for the painstaking effort they selflessly put in every day. She reminded the students of the tireless labour and love all the teachers put in to bring them up as knowledgeable and compassionate individuals.

Teachers' Day was celebrated at M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth on 30 August 2024, as 5 September, the day on which it is traditionally observed, coincides with the schedule for the First Term exams. The morning assembly of 30 August 2024 saw an incredible classical instrumental presentation - a sarod recital performed by Debosmit Mukhopadhyay, 4C and Debaditya Mukhopadhyay, 4A along with tabla accompaniment by Swapnil Bhattacharya, 5C. The assembly was graced by Pandit Subhabrata Chatterjee, a renowned sarod player, Mr Kishan Kumar Kejriwal, Chairman, Mr Neelkantha Gupta, Director, Ms Mallika Mukherjee, Principal and Mr Biswajit Majumdar, Headmaster.

Teachers' Day at Modern High School for Girls is celebrated across all levels with a lot of love and enthusiasm. The outgoing batch of class 12 had the privilege of putting up a special performance for all teachers.

Students of classes 9 to 12 organized the celebration for all the teachers from 11 am onwards. The whole program was organised by the Students’ Council and senior students under the guidance of our dear Principal, Ms Satabdi Bhattacharjee. The teachers and students gathered in the school auditorium in order to celebrate this special day! The highlights of the program were the inaugural performance , a brilliant musical instrumental ensemble of percussion, flute, sarod and kahon and a football match between students and teachers. Students also performed on Bollywood retro songs, enacted a self-scripted play, organised a fashion show for teachers and a Tambola session. All teachers thoroughly enjoyed the program.

The mini-mes of MINDS (primary section of St. Jude's High School) threw the most epic Teachers' Day bash ever! They donned rainbow colours and showed off their superstar skills - dancing like unicorns, singing classical compositions like renowned Ustads, playing electric keyboard, harmonica & violin like maestros, and even bending like yoga masters! But the pièce de résistance was the "Role Reversal" skit where they became the teachers and copied their favourite teachers' funny habits.

It was a day filled with LOLs, joy, and applause galore. The teachers felt like superheroes, and the kids felt like tiny titans of love and kindness.
