Teachers' Day, at Asian International School has been observed to be the most happy event for the students. Children from LKG to XII did not leave a stone unturned and put up great cultural shows to showcase their respect and gratitude to their mentors.

On 4th September 2023, Aditya Academy Secondary School, Barasat, celebrated Teachers' Day with befitting events and great grandeur. The fun filled assembly organised by the students, the class decorations and the merry dancing with thrilling music were greatly enjoyed by the teachers and students alike.

Early in the morning the program started with the Principal's speech on the importance of all Teachers, the builders of our nation. The audience were very excited to watch a dance performance by the students of VII to X decided to all their beloved teachers. A junior student played the song 'Purano Shei Diner Kotha' on her violin. All the teachers of the school were amazed to hear two recitations performed by two of their students. The first half of the celebration ended with a beautiful song by the school choir group.

Teachers' Day was celebrated by our teachers and staff from all locations in Chabar this year. Both the Kolkata schools staff and from Haldia came to Park Street and celebrated at Chabar. The event began with cake cutting and then moved on to a buffet lunch.

Chabar was the destination of the Bhubaneswar team's visit. A cake cutting ceremony and buffet lunch with local traditional sweets were both part of the event. All teachers in Kolkata, Haldia, and BBSR also received a gift. All the support staff throughout the locations have received lunch packets as well.

Teachers' day was celebrated with pomp and aplomb at Beltala Girls' High School . The birth anniversary of Dr Radhakrishnan is celebrated as Teachers' Day every year. His life and his contributions as a great teacher , philosopher, ambassador, statesman and writer were highlighted by the students.

On this occasion the students expressed their love and regards for their teachers through their handmade Greeting cards. They also performed cultural programmes. Their songs, dances and other programmes received a lot of applause from the teachers. Their love and affection for their teachers was writ large on their faces.

Bethune Collegiate School celebrated Teachers' Day yesterday in a very special manner on the occasion of our 175th anniversary. A beautiful cultural programme was organised in which students, ex-students and guardians participated whole-heartedly.

It was a heart - warming moment as two generations of teachers came together on the stage. Our ex-student Bratati Bandopadhyay also took part in the programme and mesmerized the audience with her impeccable performance. At the end the teachers put up a play for the entertainment of the students. The programme was flawlessly executed and left all of us more enriched and pleased beyond measure. Dr. Anirban Kundu, Professor, Rajabazar Science College(Dr.Anirban Kundu is a fellow of National Academy of Sciences and Fellow of Indian Academy of sciences), graced the occasion as our Chief Guest.

The United Students Organisation of Calcutta Boys' School organised a cultural program on the 5th of September dedicated to honouring and appreciating the teachers for their valuable contribution to education. The program started with the Principal and Secretary Mr Raja McGee showing his reverence by a floral tribute for Dr Radhakrishnan, a renowned Indian philosopher and statesman who served as India's second President and was a dedicated teacher himself.

On this day, students express their gratitude to their teachers through various songs,a violin recital and a band performance as a gesture of appreciation. The program was conducted in the Chapel hall of the school which was tastefully decorated for the purpose. This was followed by the ceremonial cake cutting and distribution of gifts as a mark of respect. This was followed by a lavish lunch at J.W .Marriott again organised by the U.S.O. of the school. The Principal thanked the students who indeed did a commendable job in making the day special for the teachers.

Calcutta International School celebrates Teacher’s Day to honour those who make learning an adventure. The day began on an exciting note with a friendly basketball match between teachers and students. This was followed by a carefully curated programme that showcased sterling performances in dance and drama as well as a musical medley. Heartfelt self-composed poems were also recited by students to convey their gratitude to their beloved teachers.

Teachers' Day is a special day to appreciate and honor the amazing teachers. The hostelites of Mount Olive showed their gratitude to the entire faculty, staff and teachers of Douglas Memorial Higher Secondary School by thanking them and acknowledging their hard work. Starting from the melodious tune of Lata Mangeshkar’s “Kabootar Ja Ja Ja” to Jassie Gill’s “Lamborghini”, the children pulled off an exemplary performance. The teachers couldn’t help but shake a leg.

All these were followed by marvellous performances by the teachers of Douglas where they showcased their skills - in the field of dance, song and ramp walk. Senco Gold and State Bank of India were present too in order to acknowledge the hard work of the teachers and celebrate every milestone they have achieved. The event was followed by a grand lunch and as we know, any joyful event is incomplete if you minus scrumptious and delectable Biryani from the menu. The teachers felt incredibly appreciated on Teachers' Day!

The day dedicated to the very foundation of knowledge, inspiration and growth, Teachers, was successfully celebrated by the senior students of G D GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL DAKHSHINESWAR on the 5th of September 2023. It was a delightful programme to cherish the partnership of student and teacher. The start was with a big bash medley, presented by the students of class XI and XII. The power packed music performance was followed by a short but impressive dance drama which showcased the bonding shared between teacher and student! Poems bring out the untold emotions and make us passionately bound. A touching poem recitation was presented by a student of class IX.

Observance of Teachers Day at Hare School is an annual event as it is celebrated with great enthusiasm by students of both morning & day sections seperately in the school auditorium. Teacher's Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on the 1st, 4th and 5th of September, 2023 at the Jewish Girls' School. On the 1st, the junior school students under the able guidance of the Student Council members, greeted their teachers with their hearty welcome and put a smile on their faces with their performances in their respective classes.

The programme was followed by a Music Therapy Workshop which tugged hearts and helped the audience to let go of pent-up feelings. The Management threw a lavish lunch buffet on the 5th for the teachers. The Principal and the Vice Principal distributed plant saplings and gift items as a token of appreciation. The teachers had a great time singing and dancing to their heart's delight.

Teachers' Day was celebrated at La Maternelle High and Primary School with great enthusiasm and enjoyment.It was celebrated amidst great excitement through songs, recitation, dance etc. The rooms were decorated beautifully and the efforts of the students was praiseworthy.

Teachers’ Day is a very special occasion in the academic year of a school. It is a day of celebration and camaraderie. Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya has celebrated the Teachers' Day in a befitting manner. Vidyalaya parivar felicitated the retired staff members of Vidyalaya. Students of classes XI and XII took first periods today. Teachers of the Vidyalaya staged a mime show and also a Geeti Alekhya. A student of class VI paid his tribute to dedicated teachers in Sanskrit. In the afternoon, a friendly football match was held between staff members and students.

Vidyalaya also has been bestowed upon the Sera Vidyalaya Award by the School Education Dept. , Govt. of West Bengal. On behalf of Vidyalaya, the Headmaster of the Vidyalaya received the award. Swami Isteshananda was also present at the event.

On 5th September, 2023, students of Ruby Park Public School expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the teachers through praiseworthy performances. The programme started with a melodious and heart-warming welcome song followed by the lighting of the auspicious lamp by our respected Principal ma’am. After that the minstrels of RPPS filled the air with sweet melody followed by some enthralling dance performances and captivating recitation. The students also arranged a quiz for the teachers which was thoroughly enjoyed by them. The programme ended with our national anthem.

Keeping the tradition of the Guru- Shishya parampara alive, the children and the teachers were engaged in a lot of activities which harnessed their bonding and synergy.
