Annual concerts are always a magical event for any school. It’s that time of the year when the school as well as the students get applauded for their display of talents. Jyotirmoy Public School celebrated its Annual Concert on 14 November, 2024 on the theme- “KOLKATA: FROM ROOTS TO WINGS”.

The event was presided by the Trustee Founder President of Jyotirmoy Education & Welfare Foundation–Dr. Partha Sarathi Ganguli and attended by stalwarts namely, Mrs Vanita Ganguli , CEO- DIRECTOR of Saraswati Online.com Ltd , Smt. Dola Banerjee (the famous archer ), Mr Tanmoy Banerjee, ( Director - RTNetworkSolutions ) Dr. Romit Beed (HOD , Computer Science, St. Xaviers College, Kolkata ), several of our well wishers, friends from the press and other Unit Heads of Jyotirmoy Education Welfare Foundation. This year’s theme showcased the journey and evolution of Calcutta to Kolkata in various forms comprising songs, recitation and dance.

The cultural show commenced with a heartwarming rendition followed by the lightning of the lamp. Our Principal, Mr. Sushant Das welcomed the guests and presented the Annual Report of the school’s achievements in all domains . After awarding the recipients for their academic achievement in the session 2023-2024, the cultural extravaganza began. The multitudinal events like dance, songs, beat boxing, instrumental music, and many more were presented before the audience.

The delightful display got the audience grooving. The cultural event concluded with the cultural display of paying tribute why this city is befittingly called the City of Joy, followed by the vote of thanks by the School Captain and then the National Anthem.

All guests present, appreciated the School Management and students for their superb co-ordination and presentation and encouraged the young minds to engage not only in academics but also in other co- curricular activities.

The success of the Annual Concert resonated with thunderous claps and wishes for the years to come.
