On the bright morning of 15th August, St. Jude's High School proudly celebrated Independence Day with a series of inspiring and patriotic events.

Independence Day celebrations at St Augustine's Day School Barrackpore witnessed Flag Hoisting at the extended campus at Saplings and Manirampur followed by a cultural program by students. Parents of the little ones proudly applauded the patriotic zeal of their children. At the Barrackpore campus, the Flag hoisting ceremony was held in presence of Scouts and Guides students, Principal Ma'am, teachers, staff and other heads. Principal, Ms Shweta Ray hoisted the Tricolour and the school reverberated with the National Anthem sung in unison by all.

The day was remarkable as the school felicitated ten Police personnel from different zones of the Barrackpore Police Commissionerate, for their concerted efforts and dedicated service to the society. Our Chief Guest, Ld Shri Alok Rajoria (IPS), Commissioner of Police, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate, and Guest of Honour, Smt Kirtika Rajoria congratulated the audience for 76 years of Independence and graced the cultural program at school. President, Ms Janet Gasper Chowdhury , CEO & Secretary, Mr Amitava Chowdhury and Principal, Mrs Shweta Ray felicitated the guests and Police personnel.
