14 November 2024 was a vibrant and joyful day at Aditya Academy Secondary Barasat with an enthusiastic celebration by the students and staff members. The day began with a special assembly. The students were overjoyed as they participated in classroom decorations.

As a token of love and appreciation, students received special food packets, generously sponsored by the school management. The event concluded with the national anthem and a renewed commitment from students and teachers to nurture a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Childhood is probably the best phase of human life and the most impressionistic years of our lives, for…..“Children see magic in everything, because they look for it.” This year, on Children’s Day Adamas World School celebrated with a special assembly that began with the principal, Mr. Gobind S. Moorjani addressed the students with a short story followed by a group song and a short drama presented by the teachers. Children were in splits, clapping and cheering! They enjoyed the show wholeheartedly.

Classes Toddlers to V were shown a movie while classes VI upwards enjoyed a friendly Cricket match between Teachers(gents) and Students (boys) of class XI & XII. There was a tug-of-war between Teachers (ladies) and Students (Girls) as well. In both the events, students were the winners. The day ended with gifts to the students, fun and enjoyment.

Children’s Day celebration was filled with joy and surprises. Primary teachers delighted students by dressing in school uniforms, while senior students enjoyed a surprise fashion show featuring their teachers.

The day continued with a friendly cricket match between teachers and students, and a vibrant Garba dance by senior girls. Other students had a fun movie time in their classrooms. It was a day of laughter, togetherness, and unforgettable memories, embracing the spirit of childhood.

Apeejay School Salt Lake celebrated Children's Day 2024 in a truly special and memorable way. The event began with a vibrant program organized by the teachers, featuring lively songs, energetic dance performances, a humorous skit, a musical antakshari, and an engaging quiz show.

The students then participated in a variety of fun-filled activities, including craft-making and experiential learning sessions, allowing them to explore their creativity and curiosity. The primary section of Apeejay School Park Street ,Kolkata celebrated Children's Day in the school to foster a sense of unity and belonging among students. The children’s creativity , self expression and team work were encouraged . The theme was ‘Sharing is Caring’. Thus the children of classes 3 ,4 and 5 prepared nutritious chaats , bhelpuri and mocktails with the ingredients they had carried to school and shared them amongst themselves. Outdoor games had been organized to promote teamwork and sportsmanship. Children also showcased their talents in classrooms and played antakshari as a team. The distribution of gifts and ice-creams on behalf of the school was appreciated by all. In the latter half the children enjoyed watching movies.

The Children’s Day celebration was a resounding success promoting joy , learning and social responsibility. It was a reaffirmation of nurturing young minds and shaping future leaders with a positive mind set. Classes 1 and 2 had visited a Nature Park along with their teachers. They enjoyed the flora and fauna amidst nature .The chirruping of the birds and the sound of the rippling water body enhanced the ambience. It was also a learning lesson for them while walking back to school as they were taught the safety measures on the road.

On the grand annual occasion of celebrating the children of Ashok Hall, the teachers and the administrative staff took it upon themselves to stage a magnificent show of talents with many humorous and enthusiastic endeavours, as on Children's Day, 14th November, we all saw the teachers take down their teaching caps and put on act after act seamlessly. The students cheered on happily as they saw their teachers, usually lovingly strict, and caringly concerned, put on a carefree demeanor as they sang heartfelt favourites that would quench the soul of all generations alike,, after which a delightful performance of classical dance was showcased, with all the lovely attire and getups adding to the experience another level. Not to forget, the drama that they set up, depicting the toil and trouble of both students, and teachers lives', teaches us, yet again, that no faction is without its fair share of pains and gains. And then after a meaningful lesson, the teachers also performed an energetic western dance routine to peppy beats which got the student community up and on their toes!

The event drawed towards an end with a classy fashion show, where the teachers donned their best and strut down the ground, striking powerful poses as the students clapped and shouted for an encore, but as time wraps it all up, the teachers all took a bow as they finished it up with grace and beauty, giving the children, a Children's Day to remember.

This Children’s Day B.D.M International was dedicated to cherishing and acknowledging the role of children in shaping the future, with a varied range of performances by the teachers including choir, enactment of nursery rhymes, folk-dance, fashion show, skit and medley of songs- as they revisited the classroom days that also enabled children understand the importance of peer learning, co-curricular activities, collaboration, creativity and teamwork! The young ones received ‘seed pencils’ as a token of love and appreciation in order to commit to an eco-friendly environment and embrace a greener future!
‘Teacher-Student Role Reversal’ on this day was full of fun and excitement, a heartwarming and thrilling experience for the students to see their teachers dance and sway. The performances put up wholeheartedly were throughout appreciated by the students, as it took them down the memory lane! Each member of the institution ensured that the programme was well presented.The students were reminded of Nehru’s devotion to the welfare, education, and development of children and youth at large.

Children help us to celebrate life's finest moments with utmost sincerity. Their presence makes an institution lively. In order to celebrate them, the teachers of Birla High School had put up various performances on Children's Day. The programme commenced with the Saraswati Vandana which was followed by the Principal's address to the students. To strike the right note of celebration, the teachers went on to present a symphonic rendition through orchestral, group, as well as solo musical performances.

The IT teachers had prepared a powerpoint presentation for the students which they enjoyed a lot. The programme ended with a drama, titled 'Grooving with the Ghosts', which also contained fashion show and dance performances by the teachers. Principal, Ms Loveleen Saigal, played a cameo in the drama which got the students elated with joy.

On the occasion of Children’s Day, the students of Classes Nursery to IV enjoyed a mesmerizing magic show that left them all thrilled and spellbound. The magician's tricks and illusions brought smiles and laughter, and created a magical atmosphere. The event was a delightful success, making Children's Day memorable for all the juniors. The students from Classes V to X were taken to Victoria Memorial, Kolkata. This fun-filled educational trip was organized to provide the students with a unique opportunity to learn about India’s rich history and culture.

Accompanied by a team of 22 teachers, and 12 support staff members, upon arrival, students were mesmerized by the magnificent paintings and sculptures which stand as symbols of the Colonial Past. Guided tours were arranged for the students, during which they explored various galleries inside the memorial. In addition to the historical exhibits, the students of Classes IX and X attended the Science Film Festival conducted by Victoria Memorial in collaboration with Goethe Institut, Kolkata, which enhanced their understanding of history, science and sustainability.

Harrow Hall School organized a memorable Children’s Day celebration filled with fun and entertainment for students across all grades. They visited the New Empire Cinema Hall to watch Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, a thrilling experience that left them thrilled and delighted.

Indus Valley World School commemorated Children's Day on November 14th with a vibrant and memorable program, spreading laughter and excitement throughout the campus. The Junior Section witnessed teachers from Grades 3-5 showcasing India's rich cultural diversity through a stunning ramp show, donning traditional attire from various regions. The Middle School auditorium transformed into a hub of entertainment with the captivating drama, "Burun er Golpo," adapted from Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay's "Gosaibaganer Bhoot." Teachers' enthusiastic participation in dance, drama, music, and role-play left students of Grades 6-8 mesmerized.

For Grades 9-12, teachers presented engaging songs, dance performances, and a surprise rendition. A semi-classical dance performance by senior faculty and a thrilling football match between students and teachers added to the excitement. Teachers emerged victorious in a tiebreaker, sparking cheers. Food stalls offered a gastronomic experience, and students received personalized tokens and mementos. As they savored delicacies and took photos with teachers, the deep bond between mentor and mentee shone through.

Children's Day, 2024 at Jewish Girls' School was a day filled with joy and wonder. Middle and senior school students embarked on exciting picnics, heading to the picturesque Akanta Apon Picnic Spot and the serene Golden Glow Garden. Equipped with racquets, footballs, and cards, students engaged in a variety of outdoor activities. Whether they were swinging on swings, sliding down the slides, challenging friends to a badminton match, or sharing laughter over a game of cards under the shade of a tree, the day was filled with fun and camaraderie.

Junior school students in classes 3 and 4 had a memorable outing to Cinepolis. They were captivated by the enchanting film "Appu," and the delicious popcorn and soft drinks added to the magical cinematic experience. The youngest students, from Pre-Nursery to Class 2, were mesmerised by a magical show held at school . Their eyes widened in astonishment as they witnessed the remarkable feats of the magician.

Julien Day School, Ganganagar celebrated Children's Day with the 'Annual School Fete' held at the sunny grounds of Julian Nursery School which buzzed with vibrant energy and excitement. Families, students, and community members gathered for a day filled with joyous celebrations. The colorful array of stalls adorned with handmade crafts, delectable treats, and captivating games enticed visitors from all corners.

The Annual Carnival at Julien Day School, Howrah like every other year commenced with 40 children from the Social Service Department of Don Bosco Liluah School and 35 children from CINI Asha inaugurating the Carnival. In this heartfelt exploration of dedication to social change the sole purpose for celebrating Children’s Day in our School is inviting Underprivileged Children to inaugurate our Carnival and gifting them small tokens of our love. With each year the count of these underprivileged children are increasing, thanks to each parent who contributes and encourages their children to participate in this good cause.

The day began with our Principal , Mrs.Maryann Thorpe Smith, Our Vice Principal, Mrs.Cheryl Sampayo welcoming all the children. This was followed by Our Director of Education and Development, Mr.Terence John saying a special prayer for all the children and declaring the Carnival open. The opening ceremony led everyone into a colourful vista of activities organised by our teachers.The staff had planned a gala of fun and frolic activities which attracted the children and took them to the realm of ecstasy. Children’s Day was marked with grand splendour and fiesta as the school campus buzzed with excitement and joy as it was a day wherein fun and frolic dominated. The children came dressed in casual dresses and relished their favourite food with classmates.

Julien Day School Kalyani celebrated Children’s Day with a spectacular carnival that filled the atmosphere with joy and excitement. The event was inaugurated by our Principal, Mr. Garfield D'souza, Teacher In Charge, Mr. Richard Green and Junior Coordinator, Ms. Philomena Rozario, who warmly welcomed students and parents alike, emphasizing the importance of cherishing childhood. The entire celebration was a resounding success, with students and parents enjoying every moment to the fullest. On the occasion of Children's Day, we had a delightful and fun-filled celebration at school! The teachers performed two heartwarming skits: "The Sky Falls on Squeaky the Squirrel" and "Zelda the Zebra Loses His Stripes", which brought smiles to everyone’s faces. We also enjoyed a wonderful time dancing and singing together, creating beautiful memories with our little ones. To make the day even more special, we distributed food packets to all the children, ensuring they had a tasty treat to enjoy.

Afterward, the children of the Kindergarten and Class 1 had the opportunity to stretch their legs and play freely on the playground, enjoying the fresh air and some joyful outdoor activities. It was a day full of laughter, fun, and love for our dear children, and we are grateful to be part of their early learning journey.

14th November at La Martiniere for Girls is the day that witnesses the most delightful of transformations in teachers, who don many avatars for their most appreciative audience – the children. This year, Children’s Day was celebrated with much fanfare, at the Lawrence Hall of La Martiniere for Girls, to a packed audience comprising children from kindergarten to senior school. They appeared in coloured clothes and received goodies from the school.

The hall erupted with cheers as the programme was introduced with a poem showcasing the teachers’ knowledge of contemporary acronyms that children use to communicate with each other. The audience sang along with their teachers to many popular and nostalgic numbers. Teachers took the children on a time-travel with the ‘Evolution of Dance’, tapping to timeless tunes from decades ago. The children could not contain their joy at the sight of their teachers dressed as European Dancing Dolls; from Flamenco to Bella Ciao, Mama Mia and Dancing Queen, the performers displayed their versatility and creativity in every performance.
