Children's day celebration took place in a grand way on 16 and 17 November 2023 at Apeejay School, Salt lake. On 16th, children from classes nursery to 2 celebrated Children's day in their classrooms in a very colourful way. They watched a magic show and were in splits every time the magician vanished the flower from his vase. The kids returned home with colourful balloons that lifted their spirits and they beamed all the way back home. Classes 3 to 5 too had great fun watching the magic show in the school auditorium. All children were given a pencil bag with stationery and a box full of savoury and sweet snacks for them to enjoy.

17th November 2023 was a special day where teachers performed songs, dances, skit and a fashion show for the children. Inspite of having practically no time to practice, the teachers put up a wonderful, lively show which left the children from 6 to 12 spellbound. They thanked the teachers profusely before leaving school at noon with a big smile on their faces amazed to see the fun side of their ' strict' teachers.

Bridge International school celebrated Children’s Day with a lot of pomp and festivity. The day started off with a reflective assembly on Children’s Day, followed by a day filled with fun and laughter. Children decked up in vibrant colored clothes.

Children's Day was celebrated on 17 November at Jewish Girls' School. Even though the children were busy practising for the impending concert, they had a gala time during the class parties. The junior section students looked resplendent in their coloured dresses.

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, Julien Day School, Kalyani organised a Children’s Day Carnival on 11 th November 2023. The carnival was inaugurated by the cutting of the ribbon at the gate and with the garlanding of the portrait of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru by Our Principal Sir, Mr Terence John. A message stating that children are precious, adorable and are divine gifts from the Almighty. Fun, Frolic Fanfare and Laughter marked the Children's Day celebration which took everyone back to their childhood.

The children were happy and enthralled from the morning till noon. Various Game stalls, mouth-watering food stalls, and music stalls were put up by enthusiastic teachers to make the day unique and special. It was a festive atmosphere with children accompanied by their parents, participating in various activities. There were popular songs and Drama and recitation by the Teachers to entertain them. A motivating and inspiring speech by the principal Mrs Rupa Dey set the tone of the programme followed by a variety programme by the Teachers. The programme ended by distribution of Food packets to the students.

Children’s Day was celebrated with great zeal and fervour by the teachers of Loreto Day School, Bowbazar on 17 November 2023.They made the occasion memorable for the children with a special cultural programme which commenced with a prayer service and a greetings song. The children were treated to melodious songs, recitation, colourful dance performances and entertaining skits enacted by the teachers.

The flamboyant clothes of the children made the day all the more vibrant and colourful. Food packets were distributed to all the students. The highlight of the day was a nail biting cricket match between Prefects and Teachers, which ultimately was won by the teachers after a Super Over.

Children’s Day was celebrated at La Maternelle High and Primary School with lot of excitement and enthusiasm.The teachers had organised a lot of games for the children to play.These games were made out of simple things and were quite innovative.The classes were beautifully decorated and brought a lot of cheer to the ambience. The significance of Children’s Day was discussed with the children. 14 November, the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru ,who admired children and believed in educating them, is celebrated all over India with a lot of love and gratitude.This is a day when children enjoy themselves thoroughly.

The birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Children's Day, was a fun-filled day at Ling Liang High School. A fancy dress competition in our junior school elicited a hearty response, with the school courtyard filled with assorted Marvel characters, vegetable sellers, vendors, and even animated popcorn boxes, noodles bowls and cheese.

The senior school had a light entertainment programme in which both the students and teachers participated enthusiastically. Junior and middle school children were in extreme high spirits during their class parties. They danced and pranced in their coloured clothes. The teachers had a surprise for them - a medley of popular songs which prompted the students to cheer and join in. At the end of the day, each child left with a smile and a gift from the school, making them feel like one of the cherished stars in the galaxy of Ling Liang High School.

The teachers of Silver Point School had put up a show "Silver Point Has Got Talent".Each group had 3 minutes to showcase their talent. Their talent was evaluated by the esteemed judges - Bappi Subir Lahiri, Shilpa Keka Shetty and Kiran Babita Kher.(Teachers of SPS who has dressed up as Bappi da, Shilpa Shetty and Kiran Kher).The highlight of the show was our dear Principal ma'am 's performance, who had dressed up as Usha Uthub, the singing star of Kolkata.

She totally rocked the show by singing the famous singer's popular songs.The show stopper was "Durga and Co." in which many teachers dressed up as the Mahisasur, lord Ganesha, Ma Durga, Ma Saraswati, Ma Lakhmi, Lord Kartik along with all their mounts.The program came to an end with a medley song by all the teachers for the students : "Ruk jaana naaahi ......."

South City International School left no stone unturned to make Children’s Day special for its students .It was celebrated for a period of two days on the 9TH and the 10Th of November 2023.On 9 November the pre primary section celebrated Children’s day with a lot of pomp and splendor wherein the children came beautifully dressed in colorful clothes and enjoyed tattoo making as well as dance performances by their very own teachers. They learned about the significance of Children’s Day through a powerpoint presentation on Jawaharlal Nehru and were elated to see their teachers perform. The students were also provided with delicious treats and enjoyed the day to the fullest . This day was made extra special as our little ones brought smiles to the class IV staff members of the school by giving them a special token of love through delicately hand painted diyas and candles for the upcoming Diwali festival

On the 10th of November students from classes 1 to 12 celebrated Children’s Day , they came to school dressed in their glamorous best, joined their teachers to decorate their classrooms with beautiful rangolis , and enjoyed a sensational performance on stage by their dear teachers. The teachers went all out to make this day special for them. The program ranged from melodious singing to rhythmic dancing and ended on a laughter riot with an amusing play by the primary teachers. The students were also provided with lip smacking treats and enjoyed an ecstatic day in school. 'The Children's Day was celebrated in The Heritage School on 17 November 2023. While the Primary and the Middle school children had their share of fun in the form of Class Parties, Talent Shows, Board games, movie shows and various other entertainment planned for them, the senior school students were treated with a spectacular stage performance by the teachers.

The story of Eklavya's devotion towards his Guru was depicted through Narration, Dance, Mime and live Music where the talented teachers from different departments came together to put up an audio visual treat for the students.'

"Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together, they make this world a beautiful garden". On this note, Vivekananda Mission School celebrated Children's Day to make the day special and memorable for the students. Teachers from Lower Primary and Primary unit explained the significance of the day through a beautiful speech in the assembly followed by a wonderful chorus performance and group dance which was thoroughly enjoyed by the little ones. Children from Nursery I to class 1 took part in a collaborative art work to celebrate the day. Teachers also put up a bengali shrutinatok "Amol o Doiwala".

Teachers from the Day section, recited poems, read out scripts, sang songs to make the day special for the dear children. Children were handed over a small token of love from the school.
