The IMS Design and Innovation Academy (DIA) organised an orientation programme for students. During the event held at the institute’s campus, design industry experts Jubinav Chadha, Dr. Anindita Roy, Gaurav Gupta, and Amber Paridi shared their personal experiences in the field of design. The programme was also attended by IMS Senior Director Dr. Kulneet Suri and the institute’s faculty members.
During the programme, IMS Senior Director Dr. Kulneet Suri appealed to the students to maintain a creative and positive mind-set. She stated that the institute is like a stepping stone for students’ lives, and through regular study, acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge, time management, and continuous efforts, they can achieve success. Furthermore, she administered an oath to the students regarding their professional responsibilities, stating that they would diligently fulfil their duties while keeping the interests of the nation and society in mind.
Similarly, Dr. Anindita Roy informed the students that design is for the masses. She emphasised the importance of having a conducive learning environment and stated that one can learn anything, anytime, and anywhere. She encouraged the students to be prepared for challenges and responsibilities in order to achieve success. She also highlighted the significance of facing challenges in life, as without them, one cannot be proactive.
