Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kharagpur, in association with FreeFlow Venture Builders, Kolkata organised the Local Startups’ Meet (LSM) 2022 on the 15 October at Offbeat CCU, 36/F, Topsia Road, Kolkata-700039. It provided a great opportunity for startup enthusiasts, alpha, and beta stage startups to get connected with industry-leading venture firms, early-stage investors, and prominent entrepreneurs of the country.
The event witnessed exciting workshops by the likes of Mr. Arnab Ray (CEO, Array Innovative Services Private Limited) and Mr. Aaquib Hussain (Founder, FreeFlow Venture Builders).
The workshops were followed by an insightful Panel Discussion having Mr. Meghdut RoyChowdhury (Executive Director & Chief Innovative Officer, Techno India Group), Mr. Avelo Roy (Managing Director, Kolkata Ventures), Mr. D.D. Purkayastha (Director, ABP Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Raghav Kanoria (Founder, Neoleap Accelerator & Partner, Anchor Group), Mr. Aaquib Hussain (Founder, FreeFlow Venture Builders), Mr. Dipanjan Purkayastha (Co-Founder & CEO, HyperXchange) and Mr. Rohit Sarkar (Co-Founder, Distronix).

The selected startups got an opportunity to pitch in front of Mr. Avelo Roy (Managing Director, Kolkata Ventures), Mr. Nikhil Agarwal (Investment Professional, Tusk Investments), Mr. Sanjib Sanghi (CEO, Digital Accountants & Cloud Infosolutions), Mr. Sabyasachi Mukhopadhyay (Data Scientist & Expert in ML, IIT Kharagpur & 2x TEDx Speaker), Mr. Nadeem Ahmad (Venture Building & Investment Executive, FreeFlow Venture Builders) and Mr. Salik Sarwar (Compliance & Investment Executive, FreeFlow Venture Builders).
