IIEST SHIBPUR organised REVELATION' 23: A Fest for Technology Enthusiasts

REVELATION' 23, the annual technical fest of the Department of Computer Science and Technology in IIEST SHIBPUR, was held from 22 to 24 March 2023, and was a grand success. The fest provided an exciting platform for young, inquisitive minds to showcase their technical skills and creativity. It offered a plethora of events ranging from challenging quizzes to gaming and coding competitions. This edition of REVELATION offered internship and full-time job opportunities to the top performers of the events, provided by reliable sponsors for the fest.

The sponsors played a crucial role in making the event a grand success. IIEST SHIBPUR extends its heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors KTM, mPokket, GDG Kolkata, NLM Labs of the event who extended their support towards making this event a success. mPokket also came forward as the banking partner and The Telegraph Online Edugraph (ABP Digital) as the media partner for the event. Event partners like Career Launcher and 221B Baker Street contributed towards making the events a grand success.

The fest witnessed Mr Sanjay Kumar Das (joint Secretary, IT & E Dept. West Bengal govt.), Mr Aloke Majumder (VP Technology, Hoichoi), Mr Prasad Pathapati (Head of engineering, mPokket) in the inauguration ceremony. Their speeches provided valuable insights into the field of technology and innovation. The keynote speech by Arsh Goyal, a renowned Youtuber and Tech influencer, in the closing ceremony was inspiring and motivating.

The events in REVELATION'23 were designed to cater to the diverse interests of the participants. From treasure hunts to coding challenges, quizzes on technology, and real-life problem-solving competitions using Machine Learning and Data Science, there was something for everyone. Codestorm, one of the biggest coding events, offered exciting cash prizes and job opportunities for the top performers of the contest. Root_Access introduced participants to Security vulnerabilities and ways to exploit them, while Brain Dead challenged participants to solve real-life problems using Machine Learning and Data Science.

The closing ceremony of REVELATION'23 was a grand celebration of innovation and technology, featuring dance and music performances by talented artists. Participants were recognised for their outstanding performance in the various events and competitions, and the top performers were awarded cash prizes and job opportunities by the sponsors.
