Pranjal Ghatak, a proficient flautist, recently emerged as the winner in the Telegraph Online Edugraph 18 Under 18 Awards. His journey in the world of music, began at the tender age of nine at Apeejay School, Salt Lake, reflects a tale of passion, dedication, and melodic excellence.

The Telegraph Online Edugraph got in touch with him soon after his win and he added “I have no words to describe my feelings at the moment. I am extremely happy. When I saw my video being played on the stage it all felt so surreal. Watching the chief guest Sudha Murthy give a speech live was a dream come true. I believe that was the happiest moment of my life till now.”

Guided by eminent flautists Shri Sattyaki Pathak and Shri Bubai Nandi in his early years, Pranjal's musical skills found a nurturing ground. The next significant chapter in his journey unfolded under the mentorship of Shri Paramananda Roy at the ITC Sangeet Research Academy, where his exceptional skills led him to crack the academy's scholarship test at a mere age of 14.

Furthermore, I want to collaborate with different artists to produce mashup music for my audiences” added Pranjal.
