“In the previous years some people from my school have already made it to the top finalists, but no one ever actually made it to the final 18 under 18. Hence, before sending in my application for the nomination process I was actually a little nervous because the number of the nominations is quite high. Therefore, I made sure that I put in everything in my application and make it a detailed one to stand out. Then post the deadline I saw that there have been over 2500 nominations that have been received after which I had almost given up hope. It was on the final announcement day of the top finalists that a friend of mine called me and said “congratulations I saw your name in the top finalists list” this was one of the most exciting moments for me in the entire participation process” said Nikhilesh.

Nikhilesh's enthusiasm for diverse fields reflects a holistic approach to learning and personal growth. He has not just excelled in one area but has embraced a variety of interests, embodying the spirit of an all-rounder.

“I am very interested in mathematics, statistics and at the same time I have equal interest in public policy, governance and these kinds of fields that throw a light on the state of our world and our nation as well. I realised that I want to be the change that I wish to see in the world and driven by that thought I want to study and get into these fields”. Nikhilesh signs off

As The Telegraph Online Edugraph applauds Nikhilesh Mukherjee’s achievements, we also look forward to witnessing the future chapters of his journey, anticipating more milestones and trophies on his extraordinary path.
