In a celebration of technical prowess and creative innovation, the Department of Food Technology organized its annual extravaganza, FOOD ENVISION 2K23, on the 12th and 13th of October. The grand inauguration of FOOD ENVISION 2K23 was graced by esteemed personalities, including Prof. (Dr.) Swarup Kumar Mitra, Principal of GNIT, Mr. Pradip Haldar, Mr. Subhendu Sikha, Dr. Kakali Bandyopadhyay, HOD@FT, and Dr. Adhish Chakraborty, Registrar@GNIT, along with all the Heads of the Departments. This gathering marked the commencement of an intellectually stimulating journey.

Adding a dash of nostalgia to the festivity, an Alumni meet and greet session was hosted on the second day of FOOD ENVISION. The students had the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions with accomplished alumni, gaining valuable perspectives on their future endeavors.
200+ students from various colleges and schools across West Bengal joined the festivities and participated in the eight exciting events of FOOD ENVISION 2K23. The event concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony held in the hallowed halls of GNIT's Auditorium, where certificates and cash prizes were bestowed upon the talented participants.
