FOOD ENVISION 2K23, the Annual Technical Fest, organized by the Department of Food Technology on 12 and 13 of October, 2023.
The Annual Technical Festival of the Department of Food Technology, at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, known as Food Envision, serves as a platform for students from various fields to combine their expertise in Food Science, Technology, and Innovation. This event features a range of activities, including Seminars and competitions like Technical Model Displays, Flameless cooking, Technical Quizzes, Case Studies, Pitching, Food Photography, and Reels, as well as paperless art. These events provide students with opportunities to showcase their talents and knowledge. It has empowered the students to explore different domains related to their technical and creative skills resulting in brainstorming beyond the knowledge of the text books.

FOOD ENVISION 2K23 will host the following events
MINDKRAFT (TECHNICAL QUIZ) : The technical quiz Aims at exploring the technical and general knowledge of the participants where brain power meets brain teasers.
DEAL MAKER’S DERBY (MAD ADS) : It portrays the pitching and the marketing skills of the participants marking them on the basis how convincing their pitches will be for the product provided to them on the day of the event.
UNMOCHAN (PROBLEM STATEMENT ADDRESSING): Here the participants have to address a problem statement provided to them and provide a solution to it.
IGENIUS(MODEL DISPLAY, INNOVATIVE IDEA, PROTOTYPE PRESENTATION ): It will allow the young minds to depict their innovative ideas and prototypes and showcase their talents .
GAMEZY (OFFLINE CARROM AND ONLINE BGMI) :Encourages the participants to showcase their gaming skills.
FLAMELESS FIESTA (NO FIRE COOKING) : intrigues the participants flaunt their cooking skills that too without the use of fire.
ILLUSTRA ART(PAINT WITHOUT PAPER) : Encourages to unveil the artistry of a painter painting without the paper.
PLATE O GRAM (REELS AND PHOTOGRAPHY) : Portray the expertise of the participants in the field of photography and reel making.
