With a commitment to make an influential change in society, Hult Prize, St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) Kolkata, in alignment with its mission and vision, marked its footprints on the campus of St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata, Raghabpur Campus for Chapter 2 of Exhult, 2023, ‘Explore the Extraordinary,’ thereby becoming the only society in the college to successfully organize an event at the Raghabpur campus.

After the remarkable feat achieved in Chapter 1, Chapter 2 was no less than that and the society proved its mettle once again by showcasing their determination to achieve its objectives and to contribute their significant share for the change.

The event was inaugurated by the Chief Patron, Rev. Fr. Dr. Dominic Savio, SJ, Principal, St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) Kolkata, with his welcome address where he stated: “Students at our college are consistently encouraged to question the status quo and develop innovative models of change”. He also emphasized the crucial role of the Hult Prize Community in acting as a strategic tool for promoting social entrepreneurship. With an intent to partake in this change, he announced various innovative and career-oriented courses for the students of Raghabpur, aimed at shaping the intelligent minds of the campus. Following the emboldening speech, the respected dignitaries were requested to light the ceremonial lamp to officially commence the event.

The dignitaries were then felicitated by Professor in Charge, Dr. Tridib Sengupta, Joint Secretary Mohammad Tauqeer Siddiqui, and members of the Hult Prize Raghabpur Campus, followed by the speech of Professor in Charge expressing his gratitude to the dignitaries and the audience.

The center stage of the event was its enriching sessions and workshops, where they had an insightful session by Mr. Debaditya Chowdhury, Co-founder, and MD, Chowman, Oudh 1950 and Chapter 2, where he mentored the students, imparted his thoughtful knowledge, and shared his experience about the subject that proved beneficial for the attendees.

Next, was the workshop conducted by Dr. Shaunak Roy, Assistant Professor of Management and Trainer, on Pitching and Presentation Skills, where he gave an overview of the topic, discussed the technicalities involved, demonstrated the procedure, addressed the questions, solving the doubts that were hovering around the minds of young individuals.

Mohammad Tauqeer Siddiqui, Joint Secretary of the Society, briefed the audience on what the Hult Prize is, stated its objectives and mentioned its impact globally. He further discussed the workings of the society, giving due recognition to the initiatives taken up by the society, like Kartavya, The Scroll, Beyond Boardrooms, and others to mention.

This was accompanied by a Demo Pitching Session by the Senior Committee Members of Hult Prize, Vatsal Agarwal and Mridul Agarwal, where they presented pointers for a better pitch, and they demonstrated this by marketing their product called Tour 360, acting as salespersons to market their product, giving comprehensive explanations about their product, and addressing in detail the things required for a better pitch, ranging from SWOT analysis to their comparative studies, which made the audience astonished.

The event came to its conclusion with a vote of thanks by Rev. Fr. Joseph Padiyara, SJ, Vice-Principal, St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) Kolkata Raghabpur Campus, where he acknowledged the presence of esteemed dignitaries and was indebted to the society for organizing this event. His speech indeed motivated the audience and cultivated a spirit of lifelong learning.
