Adding fervour to the occasion, V Solomon Nesakumar (IPS), Additional Commissioner of Kolkata Police, bestowed accolades upon the female students of St Xavier’s University for their successful completion of the Unarmed Defence Training Course. In his enlightening speech, Nesakumar underscored the significance of self-defense for women, drawing from his rich experience in law enforcement to advocate for women’s empowerment in combating violence and discrimination.
