Jeon Jung-kook, was born on September 1, 1997, in Busan, South Korea. From a very young age, Jungkook expressed a profound interest in music, which eventually led him to audition for BTS.

Before joining BTS, he was shy, socially awkward and introverted. Thus, adjusting to this life wasn't easy for him.

On and off stage, he is a perfectionist. He strives to give his utmost best in his performances, touching the hearts of many fans all around the world. He is the youngest, centre, a main visual, lead dancer, sub-rapper, song writer, producer, director, editor, background vocalist and more.

He is known for his humble demeanour, and is a role model to fans, promoting self-love, perseverance and hard work. Due to his all-rounder persona, he came to be known as the 'Golden Maknae'.

Under BTS, his first two solo tracks were: 'Begin', which talked about moving to Seoul and his origin as an artist, and 'Euphoria'. His other works in BTS include hits like 'Still With You', 'My Time' and 'My You'.

After BTS’s hiatus, Jungkook was the last one to release his solo work. His first single 'Seven' featuring Latto, set two Guinness World Records: for the 'Most streamed track on Spotify in one week' and 'Fastest time for a music track to reach 100 million streams on Spotify'. His second single '3D' featuring Jack Harlow broke several records as well.

His album Golden broke Billboard 200 Chart history, setting 6 massive records and also reached No.1 on album sales.

His other talents are art, photography, sports, modelling, acting, etc. He is truly golden inside and out and thus is a legend to me. I saw myself becoming more passionate towards my goals and changing for the better after idolising him. In his words, "I would rather die than live without passion.”
