In early July 2024, Delhi Public School Ruby Park hosted the thrilling 7th Edition of Striker, the Inter School Football Tournament, which saw 24 teams battling it out in a nine-day knockout event from July 5 to July 16. The tournament was a showcase of youthful vigor and exceptional football prowess, leaving the audience spellbound.
The boys' category featured 16 schools, while 8 schools contended in the girls' category, making this annual event a unique highlight in the inter-school sports calendar. In a fiercely contested boys' final, Haryana Vidya Mandir emerged victorious, with Delhi Public School Ruby Park securing the runner-up position. The girls' category saw Carmel High School clinching the championship, with Bhavans Gangabux Kanoria Vidyamandir finishing as runners-up.
The grand finale of the tournament was marked by a spirited prize distribution ceremony on July 16.
