Delhi Public School Ruby Park was abuzz with excitement as it proudly organised the Inter-School Hindi Fest ‘Pragya’ on 27 July 2024.
Eleven schools from all over the city participated in this fest that celebrates the richness of Hindi language and culture.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp by Principal Joyoti Chaudhuri and other distinguished guests which was followed by the school choir rendering the Saraswati Vandana.
The fest comprised interesting and challenging events like Naani Ki Kahani Hamari Zubani, story-telling in an innovative manner, a live audio story-telling event Zamane Purane, Poster Making Activity Kaavya Tulika, Ateet Ke Pannon Se- acting out a historical/mythological character and Poetry/Mime competition entitled Kavita Kuchh Kehti Hai.
The presentation and the performance by the participating schools in each category truly captivated the attention of the audience.
Delhi Public School Ruby Park Kolkata was declared the winner followed by Sushila BirlaGirl’s School and Delhi Public School Durgapur respectively.
The event was a grand success and it ended with a vote of thanks given by the Vice Head-Boy Kartik Nigam.
