With an aim to enable commerce students to put their analytical skills, entrepreneurial potential, and business acumen to the test by requiring them to formulate the most pertinent solutions to hypothetical business-related problems, Delhi Public School, Ranchi organised a remarkable Commerce Festival –BIZGALA- Elevate, Innovate, and Dominate that left attendees inspired and impressed. The festival, which took place on 25th August 2023, was a testament to the school's commitment to nurturing holistic education and fostering a spirit of innovation among its students.

Around 300 participants from 17 schools participated in 06 innovative and interesting events of this festival. Delhi Public School (Dhanbad), Sharda Global School, Delhi Public School (Bokaro), Kairali School, Gurunanak Higher Secondary School, Cambrian Public School, Delhi Public School (Ranchi), DAV (Gandhinagar), Nirja Sahay DAV Public School, Sarala Birla Public School, Vivekananda Vidya Mandir, Bridgeford School, Vidya Vikas Public School, ODM Sapphire Global School, Vikas Vidyalaya, Mount Litera Zee School (Jamshedpur) and Guru Gobind Singh Public School sent their best candidates for this competition.

The programme was graced by Mr. Suman Singh, DIG, CISF as the Chief Guest. He emphasized the importance of such festivals in shaping well-rounded individuals with a strong understanding of commerce and its implications in society.
Speaking on the occasion, the Honorable Principal of the school, Dr. Ram Singh said, “This fest will enhance the creativity and innovative skills of students and make them aware of how to apply the theoretical aspects to real-life situations. The Commerce Festival also provided a platform for students to put their skills to the test through a series of competitive events. These included “Stakhanovite- The Mock Interview”, “Fiscal Fortune- A Start Up Plan”, “Knowledge Quest – The Ultimate Quiz Competition”, “The Bidder’s Ball – A game on bidding”, “Sociopreneur” which encouraged the students to explore their knowledge in strategic trading and collaboration with limited resources in a simulated community facing infrastructural and social challenges, “The Street Chronicles” – a Street Play Competition where the participants showcased their acting talent on the theme ‘The Entrepreneur Within’ provided an opportunity to the students to present their ideas and foster their entrepreneurial skills.
In “Stakhanovite- The Mock Interview”, DPS Ranchi bagged the First and Second Positions while DPS Bokaro bagged the Third Position. DPS Ranchi secured the First Position Mount Litera Zee School (Jamshedpur) bagged the Second Position while Guru Gobind Singh Public School bagged the Third Position in the “Fiscal Fortune- A Start Up Plan” competition. In the “Knowledge Quest – The Ultimate Quiz Competition” competition DPS Ranchi was bestowed with the First Position while DAV (Gandhinagar) secured the Second position and DPS Dhanbad bagged the Third Position.
In “The Bidder’s Ball – A game on bidding”, ODM Sapphire Global School bagged the First Position while DPS Bokaro secured the Second Position and Third Positions. DPS Ranchi secured the First Position, Sarala Birla Public School bagged the Second Position and Vivekananda Vidya Mandir bagged the Third Position in “Sociopreneur”. In “The Street Chronicles”, Kairali School was bestowed with the First Position, Sarala Birla Public School secured the Second Position and DPS Bokaro secured the Third Position.
DPS Ranchi emerged as the Champion School while DPS Bokaro bagged the First Runner Up position and Sarala Birla Public School secured the Second Runner position.
