This year, the Calcutta Institute of Engineering and management annual fest "Celsius" is back with a bang, flaunting an impressive array of entertaining events. The annual fest will stretch out from the 23rd of March to the 8th of April, with something new in store for the students every day. We begin with the fiery sports fest, starting on 23rd March, consisting of a variety of sporting events including football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, etc.
Following the heat of the trailblazing events, the Celsius annual tech fest will bring out the geek in you with a total of 14 different technical events including mobile and PC gaming, along with business events. There will also be a variety of events for the robotics enthusiasts and tech events including tech quizzes, hackathons, and CIEM’s very own ‘Codedrift’. So if you are a sucker for technology, do not miss out on the events of 27th and 28th March.
Celsius will be featuring an exciting Robo Soccer tournament. Participants of all skill levels are welcome to join and compete, and we'll be providing the bots. Our college students have made the bots by themselves with the guidance of our tech teacher in charge and innovation cell.
Coming to the most happening events of the annual fest, CIEM is ready to turn up the heat with a smashing cultural fest on the 7th and 8th of April. Singing? Dancing? Fashion Shows? You name it. There will be something for everyone. If you want to vibe to the up-and-coming Hindi band ‘Revolution’, and groove to the rhythms of the local Bengali band Jawl Chobi’, don’t forget to mark the 7th of April on your calendars. Finally, wrapping up with an electrifying performance from fusion folk band Fakira on the eve of 8th April, Celsius promises a night to remember. This year we have collaborated with SVF entertainment and a number of other prominent sponsors. We will be having food stalls from local brands to support small businesses on all event days. CIEM presents Celsius and welcomes everyone with open arms to join in the celebrations and make this fest a grand success.
