The inaugural ceremony marked a grand start as Prof Dilip Shah, Rector and Dean of Student Affairs, officially declared the event open. Flanked by representatives from 20 participating institutions, including The Bhawanipur School of Event Management, Taksheela, NIHT, and Erudite, Prof Shah emphasised the importance of seizing opportunities that align with one’s passion and ambition. His words set the tone for the event, encouraging the attendees to embark on a journey toward success.

The career fair featured over 20 educational stalls, offering a wide range of career options across diverse fields, such as Ethical Hacking, Gemology, Event Management, Artificial Intelligence, and MBA programs. Students and visitors were invited to explore, interact, and learn about various domains that could shape their academic and professional futures. Renowned institutions such as Dataspace Academy, International Gemological Institute, and Leven Squad provided invaluable insights into niche careers, giving attendees the chance to make informed decisions about their future.

Throughout both days, presentations by 18 institutions provided in-depth glimpses into specialized courses and programmes. These PPT sessions, held at the Society Hall, were designed to give students a clear understanding of what each career path entails. Grouped in pairs, the institutions were allotted 40 minutes to showcase their offerings, allowing students to ask questions and clarify their doubts in an interactive setting. This unique opportunity helped attendees grasp the finer details of each profession, fostering a better understanding of their potential career choices.

Adding to the event’s prestige, Alliance University from Bangalore also participated, further enriching the fair’s offerings. In addition to academic and career guidance, the event featured a flea market-style food court, making the experience enjoyable and refreshing for all. The blend of career exploration and a relaxed environment contributed to a balanced and engaging atmosphere.

With over 1200 attendees, including students from other colleges and schools, Career Café 2024 was a resounding success. The event not only provided students with a wealth of knowledge but also served as a crucial networking platform, allowing them to connect with industry leaders and academic experts.
