Ayan’s landmark achievement came through his moon habitat project, where he and his team focused on creating sustainable construction materials designed to endure extreme lunar conditions. This cutting-edge innovation earned a rare distinction: selection for further development as part of the Materials International Space Station Experiment (MISSE) project. The project will soon take off to the International Space Station (ISS) – a testament to Ayan’s ingenuity and a monumental milestone in space material science.

Ayan’s success was celebrated at a special ceremony organised by MDB DAV Public School, attended by prominent figures including the school’s Principal, Sushmita Panigrahi, and LMC members – Bishnu Bajoria, Vinay Bajoria, Indira Bajoria, and Narendra Sharma. Ayan’s proud parents, Kalyan Ashis Deghuria and Sipra Deghuria, were also present.
