The programme started with the school choir setting a befitting prelude to the show. The song sung by them ‘No hunger anymore’ emphasised on the mission of the students in taking the project across all level

B.D.M.International in collaboration with ‘Kolkata we care’ organized ‘SUSTAINIA’ - a pilot project on Zero wastage of food, on Friday, August 23 at the school auditorium. The aim of the project is ‘Scrap it! Don’t trash it!’

This momentous occasion was graced by the esteemed members of Kolkata We care viz Mr Imran Zaki, Mr Asif Ahmed, Ms Anita Brooks, Mr Jasmit Singh Arora, Mr Rajendra Singh, Ms Khadija Ahmed and Ms Suman Sood.

The programme concluded with a fantastic presentation made by the Interact Club of the school wherein the action plan for ‘zero wastage of food’ was shared with one and all. Overall this unique and innovative initiative won everyone's accolades.
