It is a prestigious higher secondary, government-sponsored institution located in the remote area of Purba Bardhaman with approximately 700 students excelling in both academics and extracurricular activities.

The school atmosphere lit up with celebration and festive spirit as students from classes 5 to 12, carefully selected by Moumita Naskar, an expert on the school cultural committee, came together to showcase their talent through recitations, dance, and musical recitals.

The programme saw a multitude of events where students portrayed their flair in different forms of performing arts. The class 5 and 6 students recited eloquently, poems such as Bimalar Abhiman by Nabakrishna Bhattacharya, Sabar Ami Chatrya by Sunirmal Basu, and others. Among other engaging musical numbers, Sabar Hridaye Rabindranath sung by Sayan Mondal, a class 6 student left an indelible mark.

The captivating dance performances saw both solo and group performers bringing the audience to their feet. Students from class 9 staged the very famous drama by Sukumar Ray, Abak Jalpan and awed everyone.

The programme concluded with the valedictory song sung by Bipadtaran Mondal and a speech from Shyamal Kumar Roy, the Headmaster, expressing his gratitude to all the stakeholders. The closing ceremony not only appreciated the performers but also lauded the efforts of staff member Imran Mallick, teachers, Koushik Hati, and Sibaji for their unconditional support, and committee members for their diligence in making the programme a grand success!
