The closing ceremony of the CBSE Cluster II Football Tournament was graced by the presence of the esteemed chief guest, Denson Devadas, a former Indian footballer hailing from Kerala, who has left an indelible mark in the world of Indian football.
Aditya Academy Senior Secondary, Barasat emerged as the winners of this prestigious tournament, securing victory with a score of 2-1 goals. Their exemplary performance and teamwork displayed throughout the tournament earned them the coveted title. The runners-up were InFocus School, and the 2nd runner-up position was clinched by ODM School. Kerala English School claimed the 3rd runner-up position in a hard-fought competition.
The Golden Boot award was presented to Ankit Rajput, who demonstrated remarkable prowess on the field by scoring a total of 8 goals for Aditya Academy Senior Secondary, Barasat. Shaurya Banerjee, also from Aditya Academy Senior Secondary, was awarded the Golden Gloves for his outstanding performance as the goalkeeper. The title of the Most Valuable Player went to Harsh Raj, who led Aditya Academy Senior Secondary as the team's captain, showcasing exceptional leadership and sportsmanship.
