The 5th Annual Education Conclave 2022 is being organised by the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI). This year's theme is 'The Converging Educational Horizon' and the conclave is all set to take place today, 19 November 2022.
The National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) and how it will affect the educational system from schools to universities will be discussed at the various panel sessions at the conclave featuring eminent specialists in the field of education.
The event will begin at 11 AM with a welcome address by the President of the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mr Subir Chakraborty, followed by a special address by Chancellor of Sister Nivedita University, Mr Satyam Roy Chowdhury, who is also the Chairperson of the Education Committee, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry,
On the agenda is also the opening keynote address by the President of Rotary International 21-22, Mr Shekhar Mehta. Dr Subhas Sarkar, Hon'ble Minister of State for Education, Govt. of India will also be addressing the conclave.
Padma Shri Professor Dr Ajoy Kumar Ray Director, JIS Institute of Advanced Studies and Research, Kolkata will inaugurate the conclave by setting up the context. Padma Bhushan Dr Bikash Sinha, Former Director of Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics & Former Chairman of NIT Durgapur, & Homi Bhabha Chair Professor, Department of Atomic Energy, Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre, is the Guest of Honour of The BCCI 5th Annual Education Conclave 2022.
