Massive job cuts
AI will replace many repetitive, routine tasks and create unemployment
in those sectors. In India, while those few professionals trained in data analysis, critical thinking and AI programming will be able to secure jobs, the majority of the unskilled workforce will experience job losses as they will be replaced by machines and robots.

Ethical concerns
AI may disrupt certain job markets by automating repetitive tasks, potentially leading to job displacement in sectors heavily reliant on routine work. Additionally, ethical concerns surrounding AI, including biases in algorithms and privacy issues, could hinder its widespread adoption, influencing overall job creation.

Social inequality
Concerns remain regarding AI’s impact on employment. While new jobs are being created for the world’s brightest minds to control and maintain this groundbreaking invention, decline of jobs for existing labour is the harsh reality. The wide gap between the AI-equipped and the unemployed is steadily increasing social inequality, especially in countries like India. Reskilling the workforce is essential.

Few new jobs
AI has endless usage. Manifesting and exploiting the power of AI will be our choice, but once we start relying on it, it is less likely to have job opportunities for general folks.
