WBJEE Counselling 2024: Mop-Up Round Registration and Choice Filling Ends Today!

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) Counselling 2024 Mop-Up Round registration and choice filling are set to close today, August 7. This round offers candidates a final opportunity to secure a seat in their desired undergraduate engineering, technology, and architecture programmes in West Bengal's participating institutions. Candidates who have not secured a seat in previous rounds or wish to upgrade their options have a last opportunity to participate.

Steps for Mop-Up Round Registration and Choice Filling

1. Visit the Official Website: Candidates must visit the official WBJEEB website wbjeeb.nic.in.
2. Login: Use your WBJEE roll number and password to log in to your candidate portal.
3. Registration: If you haven't already registered for the Mop-Up Round, complete the registration process by providing the necessary details.
4. Choice Filling: After registration, proceed to fill in your preferred choices of courses and colleges.
5. Lock Choices: Ensure that you lock your choices before the deadline to secure them for seat allocation.
6. Fee Payment: Pay the requisite counselling fee to confirm your participation in the Mop-Up Round.

The Mop-Up Round is conducted to fill any remaining vacant seats after the initial rounds of counselling. It is open to all candidates who have not yet been allotted a seat or wish to upgrade their current allotment. This round is crucial for students who missed out on earlier opportunities or want to change their allotted seats based on availability.

After the closure of registration and choice filling, the WBJEEB will announce the seat allotment results for the Mop-Up Round on August 9, 2024. Candidates who secure a seat will need to report to the allotted institutions for document verification and admission formalities.
