UPSC CGS 2022: Official Notification for the exam is out now; Apply by 11 Oct’22

UPSC CGS 2022: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for the examination of the post of Combined Geo-Scientist. According to the notification, a total of 285 vacancies are available for the post including Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist, and Scientist B. Candidates who are interested in applying for the post must have all the relevant information which is provided in the official notification that is given to download as a PDF below.

• Application Start Date: 21 September 2022
• Last Date to Apply: 11 October 2022 till 6 PM 
• Withdrawal of Application: 19 October 2022 to 25 October 2022 till 6 PM 
• UPSC CGS Preliminary Exam Admit Card: 3 weeks before the exam
• UPSC CGS Preliminary Exam: 19 February 2023
• UPSC CGS Main Exam: 24 & 25 June 2023

Candidates must follow the given instructions to apply for the UPSC CGS Preliminary Examination 2022.

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPC 

Step 2: On the homepage of the website, click on ‘Combined Geo-Scientist 2023 Notification’

Step 3: A new page will appear, click on ‘Apply Online’

Step 4: If a candidate is a new user then they have to click on ‘new registration’ and if they’ve already been registered then they can log in to the portal with their credentials

Step 5: Fill out the application form with all the information

Step 6: Pay the application fee

Step 7: Submit the application form and download it as a PDF and take a printout as well for future reference
