NEET PG 2024 Registration Underway! Check Exam Schedule and Pattern Inside

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) commenced the registration process for the much-anticipated NEET PG 2024 on April 16. The registration window will be functional till May 6 (11.55 PM). Candidates interested in submitting applications can do so through the official website - natboard.edu.in.

Important Dates

• Application submission deadline - May 6, 2024
• Application edit window - May 10 to May 16, 2024
• Pre-final edit window - May 28 to June 3, 2024
• Final edit window - June 7 to June 10, 2024
• Issuance of admit cards - June 18, 2024
• NEET PG examination - June 23, 2024
• Result declaration - by July 15, 2024

NEET PG 2024 Exam Pattern

1. Duration and Mode: The NEET PG 2024 will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) for three hours and thirty minutes (210 minutes). 
2. Total Number of Questions: The exam comprises 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question has four answer options, with one correct answer. 
3. Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will earn the candidate four marks. However, there is a negative marking scheme in place, with one mark deducted for each incorrect answer. ​​There shall be a 25% negative marking for incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
4. Sectional Weightage: The questions in NEET PG 2024 are distributed across various subjects based on their relevance in the medical field.

The exam pattern provides a clear structure for candidates to prepare by understanding the exam's intricacies. 

NEET PG 2024 will be conducted for students aspiring to seek admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses at institutes/colleges/universities across India for the academic year 2024-2025.
