The University of Delhi has officially started its Undergraduate (UG) admissions for the academic session 2024-25 with the introduction of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). This marks the commencement of the first phase of the UG admissions process. The admission policies for the Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB) and the School of Open Learning (SOL) were also announced on May 28.
How to Apply for DU UG Admissions 2024
The CSAS (UG) registration involves two phases. The first phase, starting on May 28, requires candidates to input their personal information and Class XII academic scores. The second phase will commence following the announcement of CUET (UG) results, during which candidates must access their CSAS dashboard to finalise their preferences. Candidates will map their Class 12 subjects with their CUET (UG) subjects during this stage.
Once preference-filling concludes, the university will release simulated ranks. Candidates can edit their preferences based on these ranks, including adding, removing, or rearranging their choices. No further modifications will be allowed after this stage.
Delhi University offers 79 undergraduate programmes and 183 BA programme combinations across its 69 colleges, with approximately 71,000 seats available. There are about 1500 unique programme-college combinations provided by the university.
