SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 Results to Be Announced Soon: How to Check Results & Key Details

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to release the results for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 Tier 1 examination soon. Candidates who took the exam will be able to download their SSC CGL Tier 1 result 2024 from the official website, ssc.nic.in. 

How to Check SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024

1. Visit the official website at ssc.nic.in.
2. Navigate to the ‘Results’ section on the homepage.
3. Find and click on the link for SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024.
4. Download the results PDF containing the roll numbers of qualified candidates.
5. Open the PDF file and search for your roll number to check your qualifying status.

Qualifying Marks for SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1

• Unreserved (UR): 30%
• OBC and EWS: 25%
• Other reserved categories: 20%

SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 Vacancy Overview

The SSC CGL 2024 recruitment drive aims to fill 17,727 vacancies in Group 'B' and Group 'C' positions across various government ministries, departments, constitutional bodies, and tribunals. These positions are highly competitive, with candidates being assessed through a multi-tiered examination process.

The Tier 1 exam included objective multiple choice questions covering four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section consisted of 25 questions, and candidates could earn a maximum of 50 marks per section. Except for the English comprehension section, the questions were available in both English and Hindi.

Qualified candidates will proceed to the next phase, SSC CGL Tier 2, where they will be tested on more advanced topics. 

The examination was conducted from September 9 to September 26 across multiple centres nationwide.
