The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2024 notification has been officially released for the December exam cycle. Aspiring candidates seeking teaching positions in Punjab’s government schools can now begin registering for the PSTET December 2024 examination through the official website. The application submission window will remain functional till November 4, 2024. The exam will be conducted on December 1, 2024.
The PSTET is conducted by the Punjab School Education Board to assess the eligibility of candidates aiming to teach classes I to VIII in government schools across Punjab. The exam consists of two papers: Paper I is for those intending to teach classes I to V, while Paper II is for candidates wishing to teach classes VI to VIII.

Candidates can register by visiting the official PSTET website (pstet.pseb.ac.in). The application process involves filling in personal details, educational qualifications, and paying the registration fee.
Exam Pattern
The PSTET exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark. There is no negative marking, providing candidates with a better chance of maximising their scores. The test is divided as follows:
