The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has issued a notification announcing changes to the seat matrix at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru. For the CLAT academic year 2025-26, the total intake has been revised to 310 seats.
As per the updated seat allocation, 121 seats are reserved for General category students, while 10 seats are exclusively for Karnataka students.
The remaining seats are distributed across various reserved categories as follows:

Karnataka students must provide proof of having studied in recognised institutions in the state for a minimum of 10 years. Valid study certificates will need to be submitted during counselling to be considered under this category. Furthermore, the 10 additional seats for Karnataka students will be allotted based on the merit list of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025.
Meanwhile, the Consortium of NLUs is set to conduct the CLAT 2025 exam on December 1, 2024, from 2PM to 4PM in pen-and-paper mode.
