Heritage Business School Kolkata declared winners of the Eastern Regional Debate session at the conference

National Institute of Personal Management (NIPM) organized the Eastern Regional Conference 2022 at Taj Bengal in Kolkata on May 28. The conference  focused on an important message for the  workforce -- that Covid-19 may have disrupted the traditional work flow, but has not been able to kill the work spirit as is evident with the New Normal.

The meet addressed the expectations of Young India from the industry amid this  New Normal, including hybrid work format.

   The meeting was attended by human resource professionals. A  panel comprising Jaidip Chatterjee, CHRO of SREI, together with an eminent jury, including Dipankar Dasgupta, director of IISWBM, ex-chairman - Public Service Commission, Government of West Bengal and Vishwesh Kulkarni, national president, NIPM, shared their views on the topic  'Remapping Organisational Boundaries'.

   The inaugural session was addressed by Partha Chatterjee,  Minister for Industries, Commerce and Enterprise, Government of West Bengal.

A series of technical sessions on 'demystifying the myth about workplace' and 'HR strategies to lead workforce transformation' were the mainstay of the event. 

   Young debaters from city-based business schools, such as Heritage Business School, Bhavans Kolkata, IQ City United World School of Business and Army Institute of Management, battled it out in the Eastern Regional Debate session.  They deliberated on the message that COVID-19 may have dampened the spirit of the traditional workforce but young India is set to get back to their workstations as soon as possible. 

  Heritage Business School was declared the winner of the debate. The  team was led by Asna Fatma Oosman and Md Arsalan Aftar who took home the winner's trophy.
