The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has declared the final seat allotment result for NEET PG counselling 2023 round 2. Aspirants aiming for All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MD, MS, and MDS programs offered by medical and dental colleges can now access the final list on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
MD Radiodiagnosis and MD General Medicine have emerged as the preferred courses among candidates, closely followed by MD Dermatology, Veneralology, and Leprosy. A subset of applicants have chosen to upgrade their selected MD programs in pediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as MS in general surgery.
Following the NEET PG counselling 2023 schedule, successful candidates must report to their assigned institutes with original documents by September 5. MCC has conveyed that individuals who didn't get upgraded in round 2 and wish to resign their seat can do so between 10 am today, September 1, and 6 pm tomorrow, September 2, without forfeiting their security deposit.
Post this stipulated timeframe, participants will be regarded as part of the second counselling round, and their security deposit will be forfeited upon resignation. MCC emphasised that resignations after 6:00 P.M. on September 2, 2023, will be treated as 'Exit with Forfeiture' of fees.
Applicants are advised to ensure that their resignation letter is generated online by the allocated college. Failure to do so will render the resignation 'null and void', and the candidate will be considered to have accepted the allocated seat, subject to the rules of round 2.
