NBEMS Advisory - All Details
- Centralised Merit-Based Counselling: NEET PG AIQ seats are allotted via a centralised merit-based counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Candidates should regularly check MCC updates at mcc.nic.in.
- Joining Process Through OPJR: Candidates allotted NBEMS seats must complete joining formalities through the Online Portal for Joining and Registration (OPJR) before reporting to the training institute or hospital.
- Annual Course Fee Payment: Candidates must pay the first-year annual course fee via the OPJR portal during the reporting window. Payment must be completed through accepted modes (debit cards, credit cards, or net banking) for timely reconciliation. Failure to pay will result in the seat being considered vacant.
- Refund Policy: Refunds will only be applicable if a candidate’s NBEMS seat is carried forward to the next counselling round due to an upgrade to MD/MS seats. Refund processing will start post all counselling rounds and may take up to six months. Refunds are not granted for seats not included in subsequent rounds due to resignation or non-joining.
- Document Verification & Reporting: Candidates must report to their designated training institute with original documents for verification and undergo a medical examination by a Medical Board. Only medically fit candidates will be permitted to join.
- Updating of Joining Status: Candidates should ensure their joining status is updated by their training institute on the Intra-MCC portal within the prescribed timeframe to avoid seat reallocation in subsequent rounds.
- Training Start Date: NBEMS training begins from the date of joining at the allocated institute. For candidates opting for seat upgradation, training starts from the date they join the upgraded seat.
