In a notification published recently on October 22, MCC has provided detailed eligibility criteria for candidates interested in applying for the stray vacancy round in All India as well as State counselling quota.
Eligible Candidates
- Those who have not been allotted seats either in All India or State quota.
- Those who have not reported in MCC’s third round of counselling after allotment can participate in state ug counselling.
Ineligible Candidates
- Those who have been allotted seats in the third round and yet did not join.
- Those who have joined state quota seats in the previous counselling rounds.
NEET UG 2024 Stray Vacancy Round - Steps to Register
- Visit the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website at mcc.nic.in.
- Click on the UG medical tab on the homepage.
- Use your NEET UG roll number and password to log into the portal.
- Complete the registration process.
- Fill in the required details for stray vacancy round registration.
- Pay the necessary registration fees online and submit.
“The Security Deposit of candidates who do not join their allotted seat in Stray Vacancy Round will be forfeited and such candidates will be debarred from taking NEET exam for the next year ”, the notice further highlighted.
