On 25 January 2023, shift 1 of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 for the BTech and BE paper was completed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The first shift of the JEE Main 2023 was held from 9 AM to 12 PM. The JEE Main 2023 question paper followed the previous year's.
Algebra and calculus were the most frequently asked Maths topics in JEE Main 2023.
The most frequently asked Physics topics were laws of motion, rotational motion, the Carnot engine, work, power, and energy, simple harmonic motion, ray optics, capacitance, magnetism, semi-conductors, communication systems, modern physics, the centre of mass, and electrostatics.
Chemistry- Organic Chemistry had questions from Aldehydes and Ketones, Amines, Carboxylic Acids, Phenols and General Organic Chemistry. Inorganic had questions from Co-ordination Compounds, Chemistry in Everyday Life, Group-18.
JEE Main 2023 Shift 1 of 25 Jan: Difficulty level
Head of the FITJEE Noida Center Ramesh Batlish claims that practically every chapter of class 11, 12, and CBSE syllabus was covered in the JEE Main 2023 question paper. JEE students reported that the paper was comparable to the previous year's and that it covered all chapters fairly.
On 24, 25, 29, 30, and 31 January 2023, and 1 February 2023in two shifts on each exam day, the NTA will be holding the JEE Main 2023 BE and B.Tech papers. On 28 January 2023, there will be a single shift for the JEE Main 2023 BArch and BPlanning exams.
