Mark Your Calendars! GATE 2025 Exam Dates Announced by IIT Roorkee

The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has officially unveiled the exam dates for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. The exams are set to be conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.

Exam Key Details 

• Exam Pattern - Conducted in computer-based test (CBT) and will consist of a mix of question types, including Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions, and possibly Multiple Select Questions (MSQs) depending on the chosen subject. 
• Number of Papers - Thirty test papers and each is for a total of 100 marks.
• Exam Sessions - Forenoon and afternoon on each exam day.

The application process is expected to begin by August 2024, with the final dates yet to be announced by the website. 

Documents Required for Application Process

• Candidate’s photograph
• Candidate’s signature
• Scanned copy of SC/ST certificate (if applicable)
• Scanned copy of PwD certificate (if applicable)
• Scanned copy of certificate of Dyslexia (if applicable)
• Scanned copy of the photo identity document (Aadhaar-UID/Passport/PAN Card/Voter ID/Driving License) 

GATE serves as a gateway to prestigious postgraduate and doctoral courses in relevant branches of engineering/technology/architecture/science/commerce/humanities and coveted jobs in several PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings).
