The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has launched mock test links for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Candidates planning to take GATE 2025 can access these mock tests on the official website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
How to Access the GATE 2025 Mock Tests
The mock tests are intended to help candidates familiarise themselves with the computer based format of the GATE 2025 exam. As per the official website, candidates can access the mock tests by clicking on the respective test paper names or codes, which will open a new tab or window for each test.
GATE 2025 Exam Format
This year’s exam comprises 30 test papers, featuring multiple choice, multiple select, and numerical answer-type questions. Candidates may choose to appear for one or two test papers only.
Each paper will be scored out of 100 marks, with 15 marks allotted to the General Aptitude section, and the remaining 85 marks dedicated to the candidate’s chosen subject. Notably, GATE 2025 scores will remain valid for three years from the date results are announced, allowing candidates flexibility for future academic and career applications.
The GATE 2025 examination is scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, and will be conducted in a computer based test (CBT) format.
