IIT Roorkee Extends GATE 2025 Correction Window; How to Submit Changes and Others

The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has announced an extension for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 application correction window. Applicants looking to modify their GATE 2025 application forms can now make changes until November 10. The correction process can be completed through the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

Steps for GATE 2025 Application Corrections

1. Visit the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
2. Click on the link marked ‘Application rectification link is active now for GATE 2025’.
3. Review applicable modification fees and proceed to log in via the provided link.
4. Enter login credentials and access the application.
5. Make necessary corrections and pay the requisite fee.
6. Submit the updated application and download the confirmation page.
7. Retain a printed copy for future reference.

Candidates can amend various details such as their name, date of birth, exam city preferences, existing paper choice, or add a second paper. A fee of INR 500 will be charged per change.

For GATE 2025, female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates are required to pay an application fee of INR 900, while other candidates, including international applicants, must pay INR 1,800. 

Previously, IIT Roorkee had extended the deadline for GATE 2025 registration with a late fee until October 11, 2024. The decision to allow additional time for corrections came in response to numerous requests from applicants. The previous deadline for making corrections was November 6.
