The film screening was followed by an interactive session with the filmmaker.

“When the film was released, there was much discussion and major emphasis was laid on publicity. I have set a target for 3 lakh people to watch the film and would like to encourage people to watch it and support it.  The film has achieved an IMDB rating of 9.5,” said Dalton.

Dalton is the founder of Netarhat Film Institute, which uses short films to educate people about water scarcity and encourages people to save water. He is a champion for water, forest and land conservation.

The last day of Kashish witnessed an online stand-up comedy competition, Humorously Yours. The judge for the event was Prajjawal Pandey, alumni and a Ranchi-based comedian. Each participant was allocated a time limit of five minutes to present their performance.

Samridhi Khanna of BIT Mesra, Chetan Garg of PGDAV Evening College Delhi, Karishma Kataria of Bharati College and Rutkar Bhatt of BIT Mesra had the audience in splits.

This was followed by Nukkad Natak based on electoral politics in India, where about 24 participants displayed their acting skills.
