CMA 2023: For Business Laws & Ethics paper, CAT students are being exempted by ICMAI

Students who have successfully completed the Common Admission Test (CAT) are not required to appear in the Business Laws and Ethics paper, according to the Institute of Cost Accountants of India's Council.

It was decided to offer a subject exemption to CAT pass-out students for studying the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) degree under syllabus 2022 at the 337th meeting, held on September 11, October 19, and November 27.

On the official website, icmai.in, the exemption from taking paper 5 of the intermediate course—business laws and ethics—was announced.

The CMA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses registration period have recently concluded by the ICMAI on 10 February 2023.
