The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) officially published the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 provisional answer keys for its July session in the form of scanned OMR images on its website.
Along with the release of the answer key, CBSE also opened the answer key challenge window simultaneously. This allowed students to file objections against the answer keys by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹1000, which a panel of experts will review. The challenge window will be functional till July 26 (up to 11.59 PM). However, it must be noted by the candidates that if the complaints filed by them are found to be genuine, the fee remitted for that question will be refunded.
After completion of this procedure, if any challenge is found to be genuine by the panel then the answer key will be revised and a final answer key will be published, following which the result will be declared.
Steps to Submit Objections
“ The decision of Board on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained ”, the official notification additionally highlighted.
This year, CTET was conducted on July 7 for individuals aspiring to teach from Class 1 to Class 8 in schools affiliated with the CBSE board or state boards following the CBSE curriculum.
