Registrations for Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2022 is all set to start soon. The CBSE will also be releasing the examination dates and other further details on its official website, ctet.nic.in.
The CTET examinations are conducted at two levels of teaching positions, one at the primary and other at elementary levels. Paper 1 is for the primary level, consisting of Classes I to V, and Paper 2 is for the elementary level, consisting of Classes VI to VII.
The examination is conducted in 20 different languages and the duration for both of these papers is two-and-a-half hours. The papers will have 150 Multiple Choice Questions carrying 150 marks in total.
For students looking forward to registering for the examination, the application fee for the General and OBC categories is Rs 1000 for any one paper and Rs 1200 for both. For SC, ST and PwD students, the application fee for a single paper is Rs 500 and for both papers is Rs 600.
