The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad will be conducting the Common Admission Test 2021 in 425 centres across 159 cities in the country on November 28.
This year, over 2.30 lakh students have signed up for the exam. Candidates will have to report at least 30 minutes before the gates are shut at the exam centres. The IIM CAT 2021 admit cards can be downloaded by the candidates from the official website, https://iimcat.ac.in/, till 11.59 pm on November 27.
The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode over three sessions, each of a two-hour duration. The morning session will be from 8.30 am to 10:30 am; candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after 8:15 am.
The afternoon session will be from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm and examinees can only enter the centre till 12.15 pm. The last session in the evening will be from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm. The exam centre gates will be shut after 4.15 pm.
The test paper will have three sections, with 40 minutes for each section -- Quantitative Ability (QA); Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC); and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR).
A part of the paper will be based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Some sections will also be Non-MCQ based. The CAT exam format will remain the same as last year.
